Hello!

Welcome, friends!

I’m so excited to begin sharing my journey to total wellness with you! My name is Ashlee, and I live in the mountains of New Mexico with my beautiful little family. I enjoy camping, lifting in the gym, and baking!


Becoming a mom opened my eyes to just how harmful many common foods can be—especially for our little ones, and how important overall wellness is for us and them. I wanted to make changes, but every healthy lifestyle recommendation felt overwhelming. I didn’t even know where to begin!


We started small by cutting out artificial dyes. That step was manageable, but still tough—kids naturally gravitate toward bright, colorful foods! It wasn’t until after my second child was born that I felt ready to dive into a new hobby, and that’s when I discovered sourdough.


Baking sourdough became more than a hobby—it was a turning point. It felt so good to create nourishing, homemade food for my family. As I learned more, I was shocked by the long list of questionable ingredients in store-bought bread. That realization led me to take a closer look at all the foods we were eating. I knew it was time for some serious changes.


What started with bread ended up changing most of the products my family uses. This lead us to feeling better and becoming more serious about our exercise habits as well. You know that trend that talks about the butterfly effect? I just wanted to start a new hobby and now I can’t purchase something without reading the ingredients first.


So, where do you start? Great question—and honestly, it doesn’t really matter. Just start.

I’m far from perfect (and not trying to be!). I just want to be a helpful, honest resource for anyone navigating the wild and often confusing world of health and wellness.
